Rotation Control – Orient your Android Screen

Rotation Control is an app that helps to control screen orientation from Notification Area easily. This app is very simple and minimal. Rotation Control is a very small app, it hardly takes up 5MB. Compatible with every Android version existing. Rotation Control is easy to use. And does NOT requires root access.

The app is active in Notification Bar, you can switch between different Modes from the Notification Bar easily.

Rotation Control works on two basic concepts –
  1. Selected mode, and
  2. Device Sensor.
Rotation Control has various modes as follows:

 

  • Guard button: This button prevents other application to overtake the actions of Rotation Control.
    Note: If guard button is active, the user cannot install other such apps. And if Portrait Sensor or Landscape sensor modes are active, Guard mode gets activated too.
  • Auto Rotation: In this mode, screen orientation is determined by the physical orientation of your Device Sensor.
  • Portrait: In this mode, the screen is in Portrait mode, whatever app you use.
  • Reverse Portrait: In this mode, the screen is in Portrait mode but, in reverse direction – The screen appears Upside-Down.
  • Sensing Portrait: In this mode, the screen stays in Portrait mode. The advantage of this mode is that the screen is flip-able. Screen orients depending on Sensor to Portrait and Reverse Portrait.
  • Landscape: In this mode, the screen is in Landscape mode, whatever app you use.
  • Reverse Landscape: In this mode, the screen is in Landscape mode but, in reverse direction – The screen appears Upside-Down.
  • SensingLandscape:: In this mode, the screen stays in Landscape mode. The advantage of this mode is that, the screen is flip-able. Screen orients depending on Sensor to Landscape and Reverse Landscape.

Note:- Depending on the device, you may not be able to use several modes.
